Last year, Popcorn Sutton was busted with 800 gallons of Moonshine and a couple of firearms.
While awaiting sentencing, Johnny Knoxville headed to Popcorn Sutton's spread and gave us an inside look at the legendary Moonshiner and author of Me and My Likker
To know his is to love him, and to love him is to fear the apocalypse.
Popcorn Sutton died yesterday while awaiting sentencing. The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that this was most likely a suicide. Having previously bought his own casket and tombstone, Popcorn was not going to the big house.
With the loss of Popcorn, one thing is for certain, there is a lot less character up in them thar hills.
